I think we've had this kind of thread before in the past. Most /jp/sies have always preferred Mokou over Kaguya and I can see why.
Not saying Kaguya is a bitch or anything, but Mokou is a bit of a loner with not many friends and a tragic(er) past. Her red on white design is also stimulating on the eyes. Compared to Kaguya who I think also got fucked to some degree, but has a nice traditional house to live in, has things taken care of for her, and has a bunch of cute lunarian bunnies living with her to boot.
On a base, human level, Mokou is the one you want to see happy, because she's cursed with immortality and besides that, has almost nothing. You could argue that Kaguya might find the things around her meaningless and thus, also has nothing and is not much different than Mokou, but in the end, they don't try to relate to each other and just fight to the death, so ultimately, you want to root for the underdog Mokou.
I still like Kaguya though, because I have a himecut fetish.

I hate that most artists draw her pants wrong, but Mokou's real look is pretty stylish. She looks like a powerful elite noble.
I was in awe when I first saw her in the game. Of course, I didn't spoil the games for myself, so I didn't know who the Extra Boss was, and never heard of Mokou at the time. I almost feel ashamed that when I first saw her, I thought she was a boy with long hair. The androgynous touch was pretty neat, and coupled with kind of a sad backstory, made her a great character (at least in my opinion).
