Why do the Japanese love semicolons so much?
>>14483210
Because it's the cousin of ellipses which the Japanese also love.
I'm not a Japanese but I love them too. However, I started loving them just after I watched Steins;Gate.

Because they are really fucking gay so they automatically love anything that sounds like it could be related to an asshole.
Because it's the end of instruction sign in most programing languages, so it looks cool.

semicolons are literally the fedoras of writing; and so, i avoid using them.
>>14483950
that's pretty hypocritical; after all, you just used one.

Oh whoops, how silly of me!

>>14483210
Semicolons are very useful for long sentences you need to explain complicated logics, at least in my language.
