are there any xmas otaku? what's /jp doing to celebrate the holidays? Is it something japanese? I'm a NEET so I'm still trying to decide how I should spend the season.
I'm also NEET, so it's the time of year I plan meticulously to get something I want for the rest of the year.
I do like the lights and atmosphere though, not just the shopping

Getting some KFC.lol jk I'd rather go to Popeyes.
maybe I should have a romancu like they always do in jdramas on christmas.
As a proper NEET, I'll be having a delicious roast prepared by my family while I sit back and eat chocolate.
Japanese Christmas is garbage. A proper roast with all the trimmings is really the only way to celebrate.
I'll be at my desk at my Japanese company where Christmas is not observed
Already had KFC today so I'll pass on that
wtf japan

KFC.
fuck kfc well maybe I would get this phone
Living in a country that markets itself as the home of Santa is enough for me. Christmas here is pretty much equal to oomisoka over there; aside from presents, it's just families gathering together, visiting relatives and watching the same reruns on TV every fucking year.
I'll stay at my parents for few days as usual, but that's about it.
Also,hyvää itsenäisyyspäivää.

meanwhile in japan...

Interesting image. Where is it from?
I love eastern european culture.
I really like christmas time, it still has that certain magic for me from childhood. Except that I don't get presents anymore.
I like to watch those christmas light shows that are so popular in Japan, on YouTube, wondering what it would be like to walk around there holding hands with a cute, nice girl.
New years is my favorite holiday.

Parsee is an XMAS otaku.

I'm going to watch some anime movies, give my mom some presents for not kicking me out this year, and make lasagna. Christmas is pretty boring, it doesn't really feel different from any other day to me anymore. I do start wearing a santa hat and put lights up the week before to try and get in the mood though.

Sengoku Collection.
Its that time again?
>no gf
>stupid family
Maybe I should get some good meal and anime with christmas atmosphere and lovable characters. Any tips?
Same thing I do every day, nothing. Christmas is not of relevance, just like any other holiday.

Same here.
I'd love to spend Christmas with /jp/ though.

It would be kawaii if /jp/ gave each other gifts this year.

Japan is probably the worst country on Earth to celebrate Christmas in. Those materialistic yellow gooks with brown nipples only take the capitalist aspect of it and eat fucking KFC on Christmas.
Yes, even a Muslim country would be better to celebrate Christmas, the birth of Christ (who, by the way, is a respected prophet in Islam too).

I spent my last christmas hiding under a blanket and crying because my dad told me (on Christmas day) that he's going to kill me by dropping my body into a barrel full of sulphuric acid. He was drunk, he used to just beat me when he was drunk but now he's too old and fat so he just gives me threats of killing me. I never share this stuff with anyone IRL, because I am too afraid, I only tell you guys, on 4chan, since I can do so anonymously.

I want a otaku for Christmas.
I force my husband to watch Christmas anime episodes with me every year. He's a good sport.

I feel you man
Escaped from home for the same reasons
Does anyone know if Japan has picked up kissing under mistletoe in their weird Christmas-as-Valentine's-Day bastardization? I can't think of any references to it in Japanese media that I've seen
