They're okay. Still prefer the more common fruits, though. I've wondered how good those dried ones are since I do enjoy the occasional preserved mandarin peel or plum.

I've had commercially dried persimmon before, they were delicious. we rehydrated them in warm water, and they had the texture of a chewy fruit leather.
