How's that Visual Novel you're making coming along, /jp/?
Not that great.
It's about a guy in an apartment. He does the same shit day in day out. You only have one choice at the end though. No ero stuff either.
I tried to make with GameMaker but no tutorials.
Stuck at 79,000 words since October 12th, basically no art and no music, badly needs rewriting, no one to help me out
I can't think of anything that doesn't have some dumb, convoluted story.
Though recently I had an idea about a meta game where a guy gets sucked into an eroge world, but it's a nukige type world where three big breasted women and one big breasted younger teen are in a house with him and want sex badly, because they haven't seen a man for a while. The guy isn't into slutty heroines and tries to leave, but find out he's in a situation where he can't leave the house(there's like zombies or a post apoc world out there or something so he's trapped there.)
The game becomes about trying to get along in the house and survive but also prevent going down paths that lead the heroines to having sex with the protag. A few other girls come in later, and the protag is allowed to have sex with them without a bad end, but generally avoids letting the other girls know.
I didn't entertain the idea long enough to think about characters or routes beyond that, save for the younger girl had jokes around her becoming angry when you ask about her age(saying it's rude to ask and stuff) and getting angry if she catches you with a young, small/flat chested girl that comes with the second group, saying that she's the same age as the girl(also unmentioned age) and asking why you don't want her too.

I was writing a vn where all the characters are self aware of being 2D and stuck inside of a vn. They would get frightened when you closed the window or afraid when the game was about to be over. There was also a loli who would bully you for fapping to drawings.

However in the end I realized that art can only be made for other people. If you like something, you can just imagine it. I don't really have interested in doing things for others so I dropped it.

You don't have to write a garbage VN if you don't want to. I'd read the shit out of a VN version of Ulysses or Heart of Darkness or For Whom the Bell Tolls or whatever. The story itself isn't dependent on the medium.
