One of my friends became really depressed after coming back from Japan. He fell really hard for the country.
He wasn't even a weeb, he just went for the novelty.
Looking at photos from there fills me with some sort of nostalgia from a place I have never been in. I don't think I could handle loving the country and then being forced to leave it. Also citizenship sounds impossibly hard, specially for a neet like me.

Japan have the cleanest streets I have ever seen, Cleaner than Auckland and Istanbul. I haven't been to Germany to tell but I heard from people who have been to Paris that it is dirty. From the places I have been Tokyo was the least clean but still pretty clean specially considering the huge amount of people and that there are many people from countries where litter the street is normal.

Isn't the bell thing because most of their schools follow the same blueprint? In most schools in my country we have the same bells in every school too. I don't know why however a lot of schools tend to be really old and I guess instead of upgrading bells everywhere they just stuck with the ones that were already used in schools and implemented them in the newer schools as well. My first school basically hadn't changed since my parents went there. I think the school turned a 100 years old while I went there and they had photos hanging from way back where it looked nearly identical from the outside.

Imagine wanting to move forward with determination, but running into obstacles, and other problems. Constantly getting stopped in your tracks.

In the lack of serious crimes police investigate pranksters.
>At around 6:00 a.m. today, a security guard found bicycle seats replaced with broccoli and red paint on the ground in the bicycle parking lot at the campus of Japan's esteemed University of Tokyo. The pranksters were presumably inspired by a similar event depicted in the recent Nichijō anime. The story made television news after a major newspaper reported the same prank at the university last month (pictured).

Honest question, I don't know, how does having artificial light on at night turn the pedals pink when natural light reveals them as white?

The white petals reflect pink light because white objects don't absorb any color. Tree leaves are green because they absorb all light except green light. If the lights were blue, the petals would look light blue.
