I wish I had never discovered momoclo. Too old and busy to learn Japanese, all I have is a smattering of subbed momoclo stuff that I watch over and over. Most of that stuff comes from other fan doms even.
I look at the mountains of morning musume, Akb, downtown, gccx, utaban and various talk shows have available subbed and I wonder why some of Japan's biggest musical entertainers have nowestern fandom.
I curse their management knowing how if they were not so xenophobic,anal and militant there would be a chance a decent fandom may have sprouted.

I'm considering a trip to Japan for Momokuri this year.
The only thing that leads me to hesitate (besides the absurd cost) is that it seems like their concerts are autotuned or something for release because the live-streams always sound so much worse than the Blurays.

I would love to go to but it seems really hard to get tickets. Also with the sound I am sure part of the difference is hearing sound that is being played through huge speakers effected by venue acoustics and recorded again vs listening directly to the recorded source. So yeah live in person probably sounds better than streams / TV backstage recording but not as clear as bluray.

The Japanese guy screws up often in one concert song intro he says "If we work together there is nothing we CAN do instead of CAN'T." which makes me laugh every time. I have also seen him doing announcing for Ryu ga Gotoku live stream event but I don't know his name. I am sure he probably does wrestling / boxing / fighting stuff but I don't watch it.
