Years ago when I was in England to pick strawberries as a summer job, there was this Russian cutie and she spoke to me in Russian and I spoke to her in English and we understood each other even while literally speaking different languages.

It was pretty cool.

So sometimes even understanding a language without being able to speak it can be useful as long as the other understands a language that you can speak.

Dunno, Slovak is way easier to understand but I understand more Russian than Czech.

>>62252438
i can understand individual words in russian but i can't understand a full sentence most of the time

also it's easy bulgarians to understand other slavic languages like russian and serb but it's harder for them to understand us because we have no cases

example for "fuck your mother":
jebem ti majku - serbo-croat
da ti eba maikata - bulgarian

>>
>>62252586
>also it's easy bulgarians to understand other slavic languages like russian and serb but it's harder for them to understand us because we have no cases
It's exactly the opposite actually. It's easier to get used to a new system when you see familiar elements (prepositions for us) than something completely new (noun cases endings for you). The verb system can be a problem for us, not the lack of cases.
>>
>>62252681

First Dacians and Sarmatians roamed those parts. After the Germanics migrated west and the Huns the place up, it got repopulated with Venedi tribes, who by now called themselves Slovenes, or "those who can understand each other". By this they had help from Iranic/Sarmatian tribes liek the Antes (who were btw related to the later Avars, and their descendants still live in the Caucasus today, called Andi and Avars).

Listen, there are no Slovenes in Vojvodina. Maybe there were, but not in the last few centuries. There are Serbs, Hungarians, Slovaks, Vlah (Romanians) and some Croatians.

Also, by that logic we can claim all of Bosnia and a third of Croatia. Dubrovnik too.

Dacians were master in most parts, along with Sarmatian horse-rider nomads. Venedi did live in the parts, we know there were "Venedi sarmatae" living there just before the Huns came, and it is very likely that they outnumbered the Carpodacians by then.

Since the 2nd century Venedi have always been described as having a large population, and being fond of traveling great distances on foot, to plunder or find good land for a primitive semi-nomadic kind of farming.

My parent like this kind of people in Russia who say "damn fuck it, that's enough, we're gonna leave this shithole". Also I support them because I'd live Ryazan, that's not better than my current place, if you know what I mean.

How is life in Russia really?

The Internet opinion is that it's a depressive crime ridden shithole, it can't be that bad. They say that the only good part about your country is your women.

I can't imagine that Russia is poorer than Serbia. Although I do believe that Serbia is safer than Russia, crime wise.

Serbia is pretty comfy but it's stagnating.
We're poor in regards of not being able to buy a new car every couple of years, or move somewhere.

But we're far from hungry, so it's all good in that regard. Although, this traitorous goverment is going to ruin us. It's already started, around 60k young people with Uni degrees leave the country for the West every year.

I'd move too, to be honest. Thinking of Australia. Wanted to go to New Zealand, but I've been told that it's full of poo's and chinks, and that there aren't many jobs. With Australia I'm not a fan of the climate, but the fact that i can swim in that gorgeous ocean at any time is great.

Western Europe has gone to shit, getting more cucked by the day. I''d go to Canada or Finland, because I like that kind of climate and landscape the most, but Finnish is hard and I wouldn't want to go there without knowing the language and Canada is Tumblr: The Country.

Sorry for the blogging, just wanted to talk to you lads.

Is it wrong to be a Russaboo AND like Poland at the same time ?
>>
>>62257651
yes
>>
>>62257651
I like them both too.
I like Russia because they're our friends (atleast we think so), we were hystorically allies and they're pretty based.

I like Poland because it's a good based Slavic nation. They seem to be developing rapidly. Godspeed lads.
>>
>>62257651
No. Poland is basically what Russia would have been if it didn't expand.
>>
>>62257638
It's interesting how Serb diaspora tend to seek out colder climates than their own (Slovenia, Switzerland, Sweden, Canada). Maybe it's just a coincidence born of economical considerations. Or maybe you do so cause you're true Slavs.

Do you think that without Stalin, the relations would be warmer ?

>>62257734
I like them more for historical and language purpose, I care little about which nation is the more "cuked" or whatnot.

>>62257759
I don't think so, while both nations were far from homogeneous culturally (Poland had Ukrainians and Prussians, Russia had Tatars and a fuckton of irrelevant minorities), Poland was more turned to the West than the autarchic Russia.

Well, it gets pretty cold here during the Winter, -30 degrees Celsius is not uncommon, and most people really like Winter.

My favourite season would be Autumn.

But yes, our people often go for cold climates, maybe it's because as you've said those countries are often rich. What can I say, we like comfy forests and mountains.

>>62257824
Beaches are often monitored, and there's only around 2 deaths a year from sharks, and they mostly hunt surfers because they mistake the surfboard for a seal. So yeah, you're safe in the ocean. The jellyfish are a problem though.
>>
>>62257985
our relations are pretty much the same since ivan iv
>>
>>62257997
It never drops below -15°C in Ljubljana even in the coldest winters cause the sea is 120km away. I didn't know that Beograd had a true continental climate.
>>
>>62257997
> -30 degrees Celsius

In the night or during the day ? The closer I've had in Northern France was -25 on windy nights in the open fields. As soon as you got near some hills the winds breaks and it's much warmer.

Jedva cekam da se svrsi ljeto,
dosta mi je vrele klime
Zbogom more, zbogom more, odoh u planine

A ona voli ljeto jer se tada nose ljetne haljinice
Svaki dzukac vidi noge moje curice

Hajdemo u planine jer tamo nema zime
Hajdemo u planine, jer tamo, jer tamo nema zime
Ojdada ojda ojda ojda ojda, ojdada ojda ojda ojda da

During the night it's been lower than -30, during the day it's around -15 or -20. There's has been -40 with windchill in Pešter plateau a couple years back. Also Belgrade doesn't drop below -20, because it's a big city, these temperatures are for the rest of the country.

Vojvodina gets fucked in February usually. They usually have a comfy winter, but then the yearly košava winds start, it's around 70-100 km/h with snow.

>>62258562
That songs seems familiar but I don't recognize it.

>košava winds

Kosovo je Srbjia or something else entirely ?
>>
>>62258782
No, no, košava winds are wind storms which last for weeks and happen in the northeast of the country. It has nothing to do with Kosovo.
>>
>>62258699
the fuck
i don't remember the temps going below -25 and that's if we include the coldest places in macedonia
the last "coldest" temp in skopje i remember was like -17 or -19 something around there
and even that was fuckin rare since most of the time we got shit temperatures like 2 degrees (fuck that gib snow and cold)
>>
>>62257651
no
>>
>>62258946
I don't know, Serbia has extreme temperatures.

-30 in the Winter and 40+ in the Summer. Thankfully these past few days have been bliss, temperature receded down to around 20 degrees and there have been light rains. Quite comfy and refreshing desu.

This Winter for example was literally painful in how cold it was, I was scared. I rented a new place to go to college and it has been scary cold.

ye last week was terrible i thought i was gonna die from the heat

>This Winter for example was literally painful in how cold it was

Norway and Finland are good for snow and such, although Norway has lots of windy days and is really wet. Don't know about Finland.

Russia is always a good choice. You can get a nice girl and be comfy by the fire during the Winter.

Oh, those guys. My mother had like all the vinyls and CD's of those guys. Happier times, I guess. Nowadays I can barely afford to buy music from my favourite metal bands.

what does "ja perdole" mean in polish
And how can you translate "kurwa ja perdole"
>>
>>62260201
literally "I fuck", but means "fuck me" like "I can't stand it". "kurwa ja perdole" means just kurwa but amplified. Also it should be "ja pierdole" from "pierdolić" = to fuck
