it isn't that surprising, people will often choose to name their products/restaurants over something Greek because people associate us with good things.
for example take Greek yogurt,one of the biggest producers in the US is he himself a Turk, and yet he chose to name his yogurt Greek because it's marketable.
When was the last time you heard someone that he ate something turkish, or dined at a turkish restaurant( are there even turkish restaurants , doubt). It's that simple.
