Yes! I was fortunate enough to work as a Resident Assistant a little while ago, and I picked one up for an event we were hosting. I had a few people ask me if there was a gas leak, and not too many of them ended up being brave enough to try it. Definitely a shame, it was delicious.

That fruit is rare here & I never eat one.
But, based on its appearance and description I think it taste like Jack fruit. Sweet, chewy, and odorless.
