Are there white/mestizo/indigenous names in Latin America? Like here you can tell if someone is black without seeing them depending on their name a lot of the time. Is it that way in Latin America?
Lower class names or what ?
Like Dylan, Kevin, Brayan, Dalton, Jennifer, Jesika, Kimberly
Stuff like that ?
Some latin Americans have weird as shit """""spanish""""" surnames I've never seen here.

Can you give us an example?
No, white girls (real white), for example, can be named Xochitl or similar things. It's not common, but it can happen. The same with castizos and mestizos. Indigenous people here often have Spaniard names. Why do you think you associate names like Francisco (Paco) or Pedro with heavily amerindian mestizos instead of actual Spaniards?

Like, if you saw someone named Mr. Barbosa, you'd be like, "damn, that guy is white".
>>62232650
Fuck off amerigay
>>62232890
You have one of these names then
Lower class people in all of Latin America have them too
Poor people have misspelled Anglo names (Brayan, Yonatan, Yenifer, Bairon, etc.). Rich people have last names like EcheverrÃa, Subercaseaux, or other names of European descent. Indigenous people have their own last names which have no Spanish influence, you can recognize them immediately.

Yes. If you have an anglo name, you are automatically considered trash.
Kevin, Brian, etc.

That's because our families migrated hundreds of years ago and prospered here, but not in spain.
t. guy with a rare surname

Vargas, Gonzales (with an s instead of a z), Montoya. And apparently a lot of native ones I mistook for Spanish so I'm not including.

Yes, when someone is named after a "hipanized" american name, like Brayan (it's spelled Bra-jan, not Bra-ian), Maicol, etc
>>62232990
>Rich people have last names like EcheverrÃa
Thats a mid-low class last name tho.

>Kevin, Brian, etc.
raicol, etc
I didn't know this was a thing everywhere. kek.

I've met some "white" people with indigenous names and most mestizos/indians have hispanic names so it's not as simple. Last names are more useful
>>62234660
It's a thing even in Spain, although a little less hardcore.
Anglo name= thrash and/or latin american.

This my mother almost named my white sister Xochitl.
