It's culture, and part of a human social behaviour called bonding. Dancing is our way of expressing emotions through movement and therefore it's a form of art, like painting, sculpting or music. I always participate dancing festivals whenever I can, and I used to be a member of a Polish-Ukrainian dance group at highschool. Hopak can really make your legs look godly.
Your country (and the Slavdom as a whole) has an amazing ancient culture with various types of dances that predate Christianity, and it's a shame if you think that's an autistic behavior. Slavs must preserve their cultural heritage worldwide, you should never offend your Slavic heritage like that, it's your past written in the form of movement.
