Freedom house, if they were equally warm, safe and easy to maintain. I would enjoy the extra space and separation from neighbours. Tbh with freedom houses you're forced to take care of the front garden and make it look like every other house in the neighbourhood because it makes the value go up. And if you don't, everyone is gonna hate you. You're basically forced to keep it flawless so you can sell it for more money.

Commieblocks generally can survive a meteorite and an artillery shell. Normal drills don't work here at all, all walls are reinforced concrete, you won't be able to hang a picture if you don't have special equipment.

This conspiracy makes zero sense. The left want everyone to have a home, not just the rich or to have rich landlords.
The problem i have with commieblocks would be noise, but if your neighbors are cool than no biggie. If i can have a good view, a place to chill and cool neighbors, then perfect.

Grew up in one of these earthquake proof commieblox and it was the best childhood on earth. Taught me many things.
As children we played war, commieblock vs another commieblock. Threw chestnuts at each other and escalated to plastic pellet guns later.
After 10 years of age, all commieblocs united, because we were all 1 neighborhood, so we fought against another neighborhood, until we were 16 when we all started chasing vaginas to penetrate.
Then at 20 started chasing jobs and places to live alone, but rarely someone managed to get both.
You can only understand the spirit of the commieblocks if you grew up in them.
Imagine not needing phones of facebook to find a certain person you know outside because you know where he or she hangs out usually.
Or making out with your first gf on top of the tallest commieblock from where you see everything and everybody.

i remember the year 2001 when a child playing near the school got hurt from a needle laying on the ground. The entire town rose up and started beating the shit out of any junkie that was seen.

Commies are either very central, or they have very good transit options and infrastructure connecting to the city, plus they always have stores and otherwise to fulfill basic needs within walking distance. So I'd rather have that, than needing to rely on a car for everything and be forced to showcase a perfect life to my neighbors. I don't really like small closed neighborhoods in general either, where everybody knows each other and privacy is hardly a thing.
That said, commie areas are also often more dangerous and full of scum because of cheap living. Though our commie neighborhoods are more often than not just filled with senile old people.
