Your guy's last great mathematic achievement was figuring out the percent-rate at which your troops were getting shot by both the Allies AND the Axis. The last time your country has ever had to do PEMDAS is when you had to figure out whether you should divide "The Fall of Rome" before adding "Communist gulag" to your long list of political out fallings.

The next big thing to fail since Rome was Italy. The next big thing to fail since Italy, was Italy. If Italy had tried any harder, it could have been another German, but then I remembered Germans have actual standards.

How about you use a numerical system instead of your special snowflake system for once, it doesn't even make sense.

>A-F

>pluss an minus occurs

Seems too academical, if anything, to rate something more conventional.

Because I think the whole "1-10" system is retarded and outdated.

This is how it goes from best to worst:
A+
A
A-
B+
B
B-
C+
C
C-
D+
D
D-
F+
F
F-

It's literally just A through F, but without the E. "Plus" means "Particularly exceptional" and "Minus" means "Notably lacking".

50's/60's Japan was GOAT in chem and physics, especially late 60's, sometime after the Korean War, but that's literally a blip in the historical radar of scientific innovation. I tried to take the 90's and the 21st century into account, but engineering and computer science is not the same as Natural Science.

Also, I know about Japanoise as well as Japanese style speak-easy music, but, again, it's very localized and even in Japan, those kinds of songs are a bit of a niche genre. Would have been a B+, but I couldn't let that JPop shit go...I just couldn't.

every country has bad pop music, japanese people just managed to make it a worldwide phenomenon

id honestly give their music scene an A- because i cant name a better scene if we exclude the us, the uk, and germany.

maybe norway on equal terms just because of their influence on modern metal

You don't exactly have a shining history of music, "I vow to thee etc." is as German as your queen, and your artists past-1970 is poor,to say the least, considering your cultural influence through the ages.

Sure, in recent years, you've held a commendable and astonishing hold on the music industry, truly magnifcent.
Though anything before these recent modern years is not only negligable but near non-existent.

>>
>>62168966
while i was joking with my post, ill correct a few

turks have always been good on painting and visual arts in general, id move it to at least C+

and the turkish cuisine is actually pretty good so i'd give it a B- or B+
>>
>>62169340
Accounted for Grieg, didn't know about the other two.

Looked them up, wouldn't really have changed my answer. It's like a kid trying to get me to change his 65 percent to a 79 percent. Nigga, you think one homework assignment is gonna bump your grade up 14 percent?

>>62169470
Didn't really know much about Turkish visual arts in general either. Looked them up, they aren't too bad, but it's relatively minor in comparison to an overall average. Still, I was being a little unfair, so I can see how a C would work out in the end. Final grade, C (until you can provide me more evidence of Turkish artisitic dominance).

As for food, I haven't actually visited Turkey, so I can't judge it based on personal review, but since it's subjective, I'll let you choose between a B- to a B as long as you're Honest-to-Allah not meeming me.

stockhausen, and then krautrock like tangerine dream, neu and kraftwerk as you mentioned were huge

while french house is good, it's really minimal compared to all the bliss UK puts out
i was using hyperbole when i said UK was the only country that mattered, the US also has a decent scene. in the end it just doesn't compare however. UK are the bigshots.

Grieg was more musician/poet, Ibsen, from what I read, was more playwright/dramatist.

Munch, on the other hand, seems more appropriate for painting and literature, but even then, he's just a small blip in the never ending ocean of European talent.

Not gonna lie, friendo. Munch and Grieg are both literally who's, and while Ibsen may have been "the next big thing", I've never really seen his stuff, so I can't really grade him properly on that.

And even if I COULD grade Ibsen, like I said, the amount of effort he'd throw into the Norwegian crockpot would be like tossing a handful of salt into the Caspian sea.
