Because terror attacks have been a daily thing there for the past 20 years.
People are totally desensitized to violence in Iraq, it has nothing to do with race. Look at the mall attack in Kenya, Boko Haram kidnapping those girls, or the Tokyo subway attacks, there was huge media attention and an outpouring of sympathy and support.
Iraq is basically a war zone, whereas Europe is prosperous and peaceful. Stupid fucking question
