I'm in the town where the first soviet nuke was made and it is also known as place of ecological disaster pf 1957 when a barrel with liquid nuclear fuel exploded and spread for 140kms around. It's pretty unusual town for Russia since it is closed for anyone wxcept people who work at that factory and people who were born here so architecture is pretty unusal.

We've got the capacity 2bh, I think we've got the largest reserves of uranium for instance (and almost none of it is mined, during the cold war most of it went to you lads and the U.K. for bombs tho :^)). Problem is our government in the 70s decided it was best to join/campaign for non-proliferation and the public never really thought twice about it so it's stayed that way.
