Why is the modern one so much better?
People have gotten smarter (at least in the developed World) so they can appreciate more abstract concepts of art, the only downside is the pretentious crowd that comes along with it.
I love going to that art gallery in my city, I just don't tell people that I go to it.

Being on the internet you usually end up seeing the worst of the worst, but I encourage you to go to a nearby art gallery or exhibition when you have a chance, museums usually have different displays that offer traditional and modern art so even if you don't like the modern stuff you can still enjoy yourself.
Last week there was a large art sale in one of our trendy areas, and a lot of it looked really nice and was a mix between modern and traditional art. I thought about buying some but I'm a poorfag and was only there for a haricut, but it was worth looking around and seeing it all.
