My last english teacher lived in the U.S for like 3 years and worked in Cancun in a resort selling shit like tours to foreigners, the guy was pretty cool.
Another one lived in jamaica for 5 years and became a "Dude weed lmao" kind of guy, he had a funny accent.
I was lucky not to study in a goverment school 2bh.

Anyway, importing foreign English teachers is stupid, because unless they have some proper teaching education, teaching your native language is actually really difficult and I don't think most people who do this actually do a good job.
I don't think I've ever seen any native english teacher here.
I never understood how that concept even works. do they speak japanese and have an english teaching degree? if not, who would even employ them? how can they teach a language to people that dont understand them?
The only foreign teachers we have are people who studied in a german university.

There are actually quite a few, myself included. Teaching English isn't difficult unless you're a retard or lack social skills. It's pretty hard to fuck up at this job.
Germany needs to import teachers because the native Germans who teach English tend to do a piss-poor job at it. They pass on their mistakes and horrible pronunciation to their students.
