Only time I've ever heard of a liberal Redneck is on the internet, not that they aren't out there though. Most if not nearly all are conservative. The racism thing really isn't hate as much as caution to outsiders and outside things. Jedediah is the blessing name given by god in the bible if I recall, which is a big redneck thing, Jebediah is just a bastardization of that name.

Probably. Redneck is basically a simple lifestyle, a lot revolves around the outdoors. Some people think Redneck always means poor, but it really doesn't.

Like I said - the line between white trash, rednecks, and suburban wannabees can be thin.
I see many moderately wealthy guys who have in McMansions in upper-class neighborhoods and drive massive trucks with jacked-up suspensions and huge off-road tires.
But the most they ever go off-road is their grandmother's gravel driveway.
And of course they all have $40k boats and campers that sit and gather dust in their driveway most of the year.
