With all that moving around a lot of smaller coins get into circulation at the wrong places. When you are in a hurry at the store and they give you back those small yellow coins you don't look too close at them and just take them.

I thought you were one of those countries where they are not in circulation anymore.

Anyway, if you're really intent on getting one I suggest going to grocery stores and exchanging bigger coins for 1 cent coins. I did that before the Euro to hoard up on 1 Eesti Kroon paper edition in hopes they will go up in value since by then they were long long long out of print and quite rarely seen in circulation.

It brought the inevitable over-night inflation and "rounding up" of prices which is still going on, but was rather shocking to begin with so if you'd assume it was rather shit to begin with, you'd be right. Nowadays I think the general opinion is more to the positive side since salaries and purchasing power have caught up.

It's an empire and empires always result into war.
You can't have a single currency without a single ministry of economy. You cannot have free movement wiithout a shared asylum policy. Different intrest rates for nations cannot survive with a single currency, so eurobonds are the next logical step. If the EU makes her own eurobonds, she will have become de facto a new state.

Fuck the EU

When we regained independence there were 1 kroon bills printed, but they were quite soon replaced with 1 kroon coins because coins are more durable. The prints remained in circulation however, but they were very rarely seen and I got the feeling people really didn't like them at all. I mean, they looked all worn out and dirty for the most part and inflation made them quite obsolete.

I have like 20 different states, but I've never ever seen coins for the northeastern states.

What's the biggest coin you have?

I have a 5 pesos one from the 90's that is freaking huge (a little bigger than the base of a deodorant spray can)

Cool stuff. Here you'll never see any commemorative coin, so the few of them are extremely rare.
Do you know if its silver or nickel?
