Same for me. Afraid to go back to school in 3 weeks with all my fucked up sleeping schedule. How did you learn Korean btwn? As a 1st generation immigrant, it's weird to see more and more non-Koreans learning the language.

그냥 매일매일 공부하기~
전에...주로 YouTube랑 podcast으로 공부하고 있었어, 지금 chatting/언어 교환 해, 그리고 오늘은 동화 읽는 것을 시작했어
I have literally just spent hours every day studying since Feburary. Now I am finally to the point I can chat with people a little and read simple books (with a 사전...)
I think alot of people learn it because of K-pop/dramas and such. I'm not really into that but it's nice that there's some interesting TV shows and whatnot to practice with.

Good grammar with verbs and good use of particle (조사) esp particle considering that it is nonexistent concept in English. I have had hard time with using article (the, a) correctly as the concept doesn't exist in Korean (i.e. I cannot translate 'the point' and 'a point' into Korean in a way that the two can be distinguished if I translate those two verbatim.)
Best thread in a long, long time.

One of the people I'm doing language exchange with, "would" 와 "will"을 쉽게 구별 할수 있는 간단 tip 있는지 나에게 물어봤어 (이게 맞아? "He asked me if there was a simple tip...")--Anyway, I had no idea how to explain would/will to him. 설명을 못 했어...
It's been fun trying to ask Koreans questions about things we don't have in English (반말/전댓말 ffffu-) and in turn trying to answer stuff like when to use "a/the" "would/will" etc.
