I've been there twice. Both times, lost interest after only a day. There are some nice museums that are worth the money, but everything else is exorbitantly overpriced. Would not return.

I spent 2 months living at 23 rue Jean Geradoux, about 2 blocks from l'Arc de Triomphe
neighborhood was nice and not crowded, but as soon as you went to other arrondissements you were assailed by crowds of people
if they weren't shitskins they were tourists. The suburbs outside paris, les banlieues, are absolutely swamped with third world immigrants. I can't imagine living in Paris when there's a teeming horde of monkeys surrounding you everywhere.

overall 6/10, there are much nicer cities in Italy, Spain and the rest of France.

I'm considering it. I have a good friend who's family runs a vineyard in the countryside near Lyons. Hopefully they'll be able to show me the less touristy areas of France. There are a number of places I'd rather go first, though, so I doubt that'll be anytime soon.

It's great. Such a beautiful city, probably my favourite big city. Everyone says there's heaps of Africans, but that's because everyone's first impression is usually gare du nord.
I stayed for a week last time near pigalle. It was fantastic. First time I stayed near gare du nord and that was not so great.

Exactly tbqh. The month following the attacks was so fucking pleasant. Not a single japs, american or paki poo-in-the-street tourist to be seen. Notre-Dame's parvis was clear, no line of faggots taking picture or eating sandwhich in front of a sacred monument, no fucking sandnigger dancer blasting their crap music, just fellow frenchmen going to work.
