I've gotten the train from Edinburgh to London many times, and it's essentially that trip doubled for the sleeper. Trains are comfy and you'll see some nice scenery once you get past Edinburgh and into the lower Highlands.

Scotland is the UK of the EU. We have lots of special arrangements, and everyone who doesn't have them hate us because they don't have them. And short term, if we leave, everything will go tits up.
Difference is whilst the UK elected MEPs that will just fuck off from the European Parliament instead of doing their jobs, Scotland elected the SNP, who go down to London and actually represent us. Admittedly, it's a flawed representation, but it is a unified one. Because of this, Scotland has much more representation in the UK than it should. There's room for reform within the UK system to combat centralisation. Leaving would be a radical option that I think isn't needed at this time.

actual scots is rarely spoken, and definitely not by the majority. What Glaswegians, Edinburgh etc people speak is SSE, Scottish Standard English with varying degrees of Scotticisms and local pronunciation mixed in. Broad Scots is dying out, and has been largely dead in written form for centuries now
