Habe unironisch noch nicht einen Menschen gesehen der das Zeug einfach so trinkt. Wenn billig Fusel dann normal Vodka.

If the planned celebration - champagne.
If you want to show that you are rich - you take elite alcohol such as rum tequila etc.
Wine and beer, although beer is considered plebeian. I'm a pleb and I don't like wine, so it must be true.
This I'd guess. Although its too expensive for the real drunkards who usually just buy really bad wine because it has better price/alcohol % ratio.
