I have, actually. Up until recently, we had mandatory service and I was the last batch before they took it out.

No. Fucking consription makes it so your only chance of joining was when you were 17/18. When I was that age I didn't really want to join, but now it's different. I have no chance of joining, Even if I would love to spend a year after uni.

Yes, It was boring, we dug holes and rarely shot anything. I fought alot of other recruits who tried to haze me at first.

They wouldn't let me in because my eyesight is so shit. I probably would've gone if I got accepted, though, but things turned out fine and I didn't really feel like I missed out on anything too significant.
