What's your opinion on Hong Kong? Would you like to live there?
moving to hk in a few weeks to work
lived there for a year when i was a kid... not exactly the best place for living desu - super crowded, lack of space etc
also rent is ridiculous... but living costs are fairly low

what about things like income, infrastructure, public transport etc
>>61916386
>income
entry level income will not cover rent - it is something hk employers exploit; mid-high lvl incomes are internationally comparable
>infrastructure
old, renovation needed in a lot of places, crowded, packed etc
>public transport
very good and cheap; easy to learn as the transport system is very intuitive

I would and hopefully will be very soon.
Lived there for 4.5 months, only fun if you either have money out the ass or know cantonese and a bunch of locals
Otherwise it's safe, pretty views, and good hiking/outdoors stuff to do

you're moving to hk also??
wherebouts?
It smells bad.
No I wouldn't want to live there.
Would visit on vacation to try the food but for long term living it must be horrid.

I'm applying to HKUST in the fall, so over there since they have (relatively) cheap on campus housing.

I lived there for three years as a kid. Mid-Level. Fan-fucking-tastic city.
