Without sounding like a bunch of stormfront /pol/tards, do you guys think Fascism will emerge again in Europe this century?
>>
>>61878694
There is a reverse facism in Europe right now.
>>
>>61878694
I think it is quite possible Germans will once again get fed up with Europe and turn to Fascism.
>>
Fascism tried and "failed"
Communism was even worse

No, I don't think so
>>
>>61878694
Is that a fascism for ants?
>>
Probably not. Alt-right populists everywhere have failed miserable whenever they get into power.

And a violent fascist coup wont happen unless there's a major economic meltdown.
>>
No, fascism is in the very basic the ideology of national sovereignty through violence

History has made that null and void
>>
>>61878817
>>
>>61878834
History repeats itself
>>
>>61878694
Not really, wanting immigrants and muslims out doesn't necessarily make you a nazist or a fascist

but yeah the right wing will grow
>>
0 chance. Look at the most racist european countries and at their fascist parties. Very few of them get into parliament and even if they do they get laughed at
>>
No never again but a kind of growth in nationalistic-leaning policies is likely
>>
>>61878879
Not with the same parameters
Nationalism will be replaced by something else
Pattern repeats but not the events

Ebin :DDDD
>>
>>61878834
No. Fascism is a system of the national capital, growing at the expense of aggression to the surrounding countries. As the United States now. Teach materiel, нyб
>>
>>61878997
US is not facist
Nice try /pol/tard
>>
I hope not. You can be nationalistic without all the need for fascism.
>>
>>61878694
everywhere in europe "populist" parties are growing and more conservative parties also, but does that mean fascism is returning? i dont really think so, but maybe something else will happen
>>
>>61878694

the eu is a fascist organization
>>
Possibly after the clash of civilizations that will happen

Was there really nothing better?
>>
>>61879238
>shitty generic Celtic cross
I'd swap that flag with ours. Ours looks like capeshit.
>>
>>61879238
It would be stupid to go with the Vichy flag
>>
>>61878759
No, we have no own culture anymore and are just a smaller america with latent collectivism.
>>
Maybe

social dynamics seem to go like that, progress steadily in one direction to a point of relative absurdity, where the other side just gets utterly frustrated at some point, there's a sharp backlash, and you keelhaul over to some other ideology

The rise of these alternative right wing parties tells me that there's going to be some kind of shift in the next 20 years, and immigration is probably to blame. Don't know why the EU was so insistent on defying the will of the people across the board on this. Well, I can certainly see the BUSINESS value, and if that's what it comes truly down to then they deserve being removed from power.
>>
>>61879376
because the mostly left leaning elite in politics and media thinks they know what is best for us.
>>
>>61879336
There's not a single historical fascist party in France with a different flag?
>>
>>61878694
no i do not think so.

>do you guys think Fascism will emerge again in Europe this century?
Well, as someone who was brought up on wrong terminology -for example, how we call Partido Socialista a party that doesn't actually do anything socialist- I never knew anything about fascism, up until I actually read about some time ago.
I'm a nationalist and dirigist, so it was a huge surprised when I read about fascism and realized I'm basically one.
Now, my breed of dirigism isn't racist, I believe in VISA-based immigration without any more value put into people with degrees.
I've heard many people who are like me, people who want a strong figure that won't back down from progress and will make the country economically sustainable but who don't actually realize they are fascist because they think fascism=Hitler.
It will only take a fascist party to open the eyes of the people for the country to realize.
I thought of doing it myself, but not having a degree would more than likely damage the party.
>>
>>61879479

They don't need people and we have been strongly shifting away from an economy that requires a large amount of laborers

if that's their substantiation it is straight from the 1960's, they're essentially creating massive slums full of sequestered and disenfranchised poor foreigners who can't find work or means of assimilation and are just as dependent as the growing elder class
>>
>>61879779

Fascism in of itself is actually kind of interesting. It inspires strong national unity and production, albeit at cost of freedom.

As with communism though it seems like it can be easily perverted by powerful figures with bad intentions.
>>
>>61878694
Fascism and similar ideologies only emerge when there's a huge economical and political crisis going on in the respective country, there's no room for its ascension otherwise. This obviously happens because the people need to be somehow open to the great changes carried within these ideologies, if they're not experiencing they wouldn't accept those changes. With the exact same speech Hitler wouldn't get to power if the German people weren't suffering at that time.

So the conclusion is, as long as the Europeans remain in their comfort zone, and I believe they will, at least during this century, nothing will really change and nothing considered 'radical' will take place there.
>>
>>61879898
>albeit at cost of freedom.
I don't envision fascism as the worship of the leader or the state, but as a tool of straightening this country.
I don't believe in fascism in Germany, nor in the UK, nor in France, those countries have functioning democracies, and that is preferable to oligarchy; sadly, the people of Spain are not born to work with democracy, and that's why we need a party that won't down in front of judges and international organisms.
I always put the same example: why is there not a single party with the balls to industrialize all of Spain? Why don't we have a leader that will just start a industrial era without caring for what judges deem "legal" and "illegal".
My fascism is not cultural, but economic, I don't want to give my freedom away, but I don't believe voting and a saying on states matters are "universal rights", I believe only the elites should be ruling the country, not the dumb low-lifes who don't know anything.
if a hypothetical dirigist party jeopardizes my freedom and well-being, I'll defend the current democracy.

>they want a "Greek Empire"
Yeah, I'm aware of this.
>they copy EVERYTHING from Hitler
Yeah, I know, their leader is even a revisionist.
Even still, I would be surprised if Golden Dawn were to start something as big with so little time. As you said, they copy everything from Hitler, and Hitler did quite a lot before starting to conquer territories.
I don't know exact numbers of Greece's army, but I don't think you are in shape to keep up an armed conflict as of today.
>>
I am actually really REALLY hoping for this so that America and the Jews can kick your asses and put you on a leash. Also the money I'll be making.

Percentage of GDP doesn't necessarily translate to big numbers, though.
And not just that, but high expending doesn't mean quality army, look at India, for example.
>>
>>61883625
I understand , but still Golden Dawn will start a war 100% maybe it will be a civil war against the leftists
>>
Tbh I think it'll probably happen in Sweden of all places, partly because of immigration, but mostly because of all the banter we give them

I just don't give a shit anymore. Everything in this country and the whole continent is fucked and only ovens would fix it.

No, maybe right-wing populism like in Hungary or Poland, but not full-blown fascism like in the last century.

History doesn't repeat itself. There are just some similar patterns.
>>
>>61883996

Doesn't really have one. A few skin-head groups and there's a small far right party "Partido Nacional Renovador" but they've never managed to elect anyone. Traditional fascist ideology doesn't really resonate with Portuguese.

>>
>>61878694
Britain and parts of Eastern Europe might be heading that way.

Capitalism is entirely based on economic growth. You have three options:

1. More people
2. Find new ways to improve GDP
3. Adopt socialism

If you do none of these, your society will collapse.
