What's it like living in a smaller city in England?
I'm considering moving to the UK for a bit, I was hoping to avoid London like the plague for reasons that should be obvious - I want to integrate and socialize with Brits instead of my own kind, or various immigrants. So I was wondering, what's it like living in smaller towns? What are the people like, how hard is it to get a job, that kind of things. Obviously I speak C2 English, also got a college degree.
