Upside, they are good terms with Malaysia, especially with Johor. We are siblings after all minor bickerings aside. When MH370 disappeared, Singaporeans were the first to help search for it. They also conduct joint anti-pirates naval patrols with Malaysia and Indonesia in the Malacca Straits. The Singaporean navy and air force is well respected in the region.
