What is your favorite Latin American country?
Mine is Puerto Rico.
When I visited there I was surprise to hear them have the same accents as Canarians because the Spaniards who went there were mostly from the Canary Islands.
They're the only LatAms that I know of that still have an accent that I would call Spanish (although it's not the stereotypical accent most people think of) it's identical to a Tenerife accent if you remove the slang words.

I'm from La Gomera and met a Puerto Rican once in Madrid, I mistook her for a chucherera from Tenerife until she told me she was Puerto Rican we had a good laugh about it after.

He said canarians, as you probably know many ricans are of canarians descents, it happens like that in DR too, they had found even guanches descedents here (they even have the appareance still), but it's more common in your country.

Hard to say, there are too many good ones. But I wouldn't mind taking extended vacations in Colombia, Costa Rica, and Mexico. The Cono Sur countries and Southern Brazil seem nice, too.
