In a traditional system there's reciprocation. Men have complete authority over women and women have restrictions but men have to pay for everything, fight wars for them, etc.
Conservatives, Christians, Republicans or whatever they're called now who pretend to be traditionalists want men to have all the traditional obligations without any of the reciprocation. Conservatives/Christians aren't traditionalists, they're feminists.
