They put the american flag and these things because they got their money from american politicians and they must make them happy. But in real life that mission is made thanks to cooperation between various countries and peoples and we have a kind of mutualistic space exploration programs, except maybe for China that goes on his way, even thought they also cooperate.

America will never become a modern nation if the people won't get over their braindead tribalism.
Do you know remotely any fucking thing about the technology involved in this feat? Of course you don't; you're a dead shit lesser ape desperately trying to ride on the coat tails of the very select individuals who bucket the trend and did something else over 99.99% percent of the people living in your nation are capable of: making global news without involving firearms and dead students.

You haven't conquered shit, fatboy.

Our ancestors used to hit stones together to make tools and then there's is this.

And if you look at it from the other perspective; a group of people in a room sent a piece of machinery further away than one could possibly imagine, to a huge ball of gas floating in nothing. Not only did they send it that far, they calculated exactly when the gas ball and the machine would pass each other.

Don't get me started on fucking moon landings, man. This shit is eye opening and mind blowing.

That would not be legally possible.

It's hard to work directly for NASA if you're not American. For a bunch of reasons , including security clearance and ITAR treaty stuff.

It's why for a long time until very recently, UK astronauts would become US Citizens, just so they could officially be employed by the US Federal government.

What part don't you like? The american hate NASA? But it's true, NASA is among the first in line when you need cuts, is used as an example of a relic of the past because cold war ended and, to add the mockery to this show, a good chunk of it's budget is used for dual-purpose satellites and constellations so NORAD can save money, because apparently your military hasn't enough, and is done in plain view because civilian-military satellites are the norm these days, even if militaries are the main users.
Just when mission go right people remember to be happy to have a good space program.

is the policy of NASA to hire U.S. citizens as civil servants. There have been exceptions to this rule, however only in rare instances. For more information regarding this policy, please visit: https://help.usajobs.gov/index.php/Employment_of_Non-citizens.

An area of possible employment for foreign nationals exists with NASA's International Space Partners (ISP). NASA has ISP from all over the world and has collaborated with the European Space Agency on endeavors ranging from foreign investigators flying experiments on the space shuttle to foreign sponsored missions to the upcoming Space Station. These types of vacancies may be found by visiting: http://www.esa.int/SPECIALS/Careers_at_ESA/index.html.

Americans do not hate NASA, even if spending for it gets cut a lot, just because we cut spending for something doesn't mean we hate it.

It still gets a higher budget than any other space agency, 18 billion USD compared to the next two at nearly 6 billion USD (Roscosmos and ESA). And a lot of the reason for those cuts are because our private spaceflight industries are advancing so we don't need to wholely rely on a government program just so America can work on space some more.
