I was in Morocco for a week. It was an interesting place for sure. I went to Tangir, Rabat, Casablanca, Fez, and Marrakech. The landscapes and architecture are really diverse. Some parts of the country look almost exactly like Nebraska, some look like Colorado, then you have the stereotypical desert stuff, the coasts...
You go to Casablanca and it is like France, then Marrakech which is in the desert, but is touristy as fuck and full of luxury hotels everywhere.
Lots of super apparent income disparity, between the tourist areas and the little farming villages with little decrepit houses. I went to Ourika Valley too, went to a Berber village and then to the local market.
Pretty nice people too, though kind of aggressive. You guys are a lot more open minded than most people think you are, and the amount of languages you guys speak is great.
All in all it was a nice trip, I would go back or explore North Africa further.
