the basic sentences are easy for both parts, if i would say something like "tere, minu nimi on Jarmo, ma olen üheksateist aastane, ma olen eestlane" absolutly every finn would understand it, but if you start adding more complicated words to your sentence the more gibberish it will get for the other part
but yeah as another anon said, learning a finnic language is very easy for finnics, my finnish friend learned to speak fluent estonian just by talking to me for 2 months, he didnt even take classes, he just translated estonian songs to finnish and talked to me while we played csgo
