Used to work at Subway. They had this really American work system: Employee of the month, low pay, weird uniform, and a 30 page employee manual with all sorts of strickt rules. Everyone used to fuck with management. I don't understand why they don't localize the formula of the store, include more local ingredients like McDonalds does.

They do a rotating "Sub of the day" thing for 35kr. Probably the cheapest somewhat proper lunch you can get in Oslo. I can't be assed to buy drinks there, though, because they're all overpriced.
Their barbecue sauce is pretty decent. Not bad for a fast food chain. Much preferred to McD's or BK.

Overpriced and they skimp on the meat. Also all the supposedly different kinds of bread all taste the same to me. Where I live in the US (New England) there are about a gazillion independent, family run sub & pizza places with vastly better subs. They also usually get their sub rolls from local bakeries so it actually tastes like something. I don't know how Subway survives around here.
