service economies alone can't make a country rich. You need to manufacture goods for the rest of the world, as we've seen time and time again. Unless you think India is able to propel themselves into high income levels by call center and IT jobs. China may very well be the last country to ride the wave of low end manufacturing before machines destroy those jobs, they did basically what India should've done a long time ago.
