Kettle purpose is to boil water....

You have to put your tea bag into a mug, put milk/sugar if you want... but a true Brit tea always has milk in.

Perfect cup of tea my Imperial pure Anglo friends....

Boil water in a kettle obviously, so you can produce enough for the entire family

put your teabag into the empty cup you will drink from, proceed to poor milk, proceed to add sugars on the teaspoon as required.... poor in the boiled water and mix. it should look a light brown. There is your perfect tea.

NEVER try to have tea in America. My aunty is American and lives in New Mexico. I learned the hard way last time I was on vacation that the only tea they know is sugar filled garbage that they drink in massive quantities.

if you are eating something salty then is ok to put sugar on your tea, if you are eating something sweet or just drinking tea the norm is to not put sugar. Lemon and Milk depend on the tea

Buddy, the stove will be on for five minutes, tops. The electric draw of a single burner won't be that much more than the microwave. And if you make it on the stove, it's made...you know...right. Everything's just the right amount of greasy from the butter, the cheese is perfectly melted, and so on.

Microwave "grilled" cheese is just a mess of rubbery cheese (not that American cheese is real anyway, but still) and warm bread.

>proprietary software for boiling water

Yeah, no.

Plus, you get an absolutely HORRIBLE aftertaste with those things. Unless you're going to the trouble of cleaning the K-Cup holder, the lines, and EVERYTHING after each use, you'll always have an aftertaste of whatever the last drink was.

They're even worse in communal areas. Guy before you had coffee? Guy before him had hot chocolate? Okay, enjoy your "tea" with the taste of moldy water and hints of old coffee and American powdered "chocolate".
>>
>>61613777
It's true. Unless you clean coffee makers constantly, the aftertaste is impossible to eradicate.

Water kettles have like atleast 2000W,
assuming a water temperature of 20°C and a water mass of 500ml you would need around 90 seconds to boil the water with it.
>>
>>61613771
Yes we do. I have never in my life seen someone use a kettle to heat water.

Your mistake was arizona.
Come to the good old South for some real tea.
We use honey in our brew here; don't be surprised if you have an involuntary orgasm after the first sip.

Might I suggest the stove for pizza? I do a little oil in the pan and mostly cover it to trap heat above for melting the cheese. The crust becomes pleasantly crispy while simultaneously being rehydrated by the oil, though I do place it on a paper towel afterwards. It's a bit faster than oven as well.

I went to the servo the other day, one of those on-the-runs with the attached hungry jacks, and they had a massive fridge full of arizona. Thought it was pretty neat how they had about a bajillion different flavours, but I wasn't thirsty, so I didn't buy any.
Had it before and it's a bit sweet, but that's what you're looking for when you buy stuff from the US anyway.
Same with barbeque sauce. Had some of that 'sweet baby ray's' stuff, almost puked. What's wrong with you people?

Well obviously there's some people that like it. It's not great but it's not horrible. I think the Nestea iced tea is worse.

The American palate has undergone some kind of amazing transformation to allow the childish desire for sweet to persist long into adulthood. They're part of some crazy science experiment to see just how far one can change human nature

Does no one know that trying to boil water in the microwave is dangerous? When the surface tension is disturbed it could literally explode boiling water into your face.

That is, unless Germans are dumb enough to take things out of the microwave with their teeth.
