America has 5% of the world population yet takes 60% of the painkillers. This includes highly addictive opioids such as Oxycontin which has led to an epidemic of addiction and overdoses.
Seriously, why are they such massive terrified faggots?
you europoors with your socialist health care would never understand.
Die in a fire bonger.
I had a serious op last year and took ONE codeine afterwards and that was it. Fucking fat cowards.
How does this work in murica? Do they have to pay the full price for those painkillers? Here in Germany prescribed drugs are subsidised by the health insurance.
Methamphetamine bought from bikers work better than painkillers
Nobody takes oxy for pain, only for "pain".
It ain't called 'hillbilly heroin' for nothing.
>>61600234
lmoa fucking sissies
>>61600977
Why has big pharma been allowed to peddle what is basically heroin to people who don't need it?
>>61600234
3 times as many bongs die in hospitals per capita as Americans.
>>61601269
It's called "freedom".
>>61600234
Most of those posting under the US flag on /int/, are self-hating whites and millennial progressives of the following type:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0diJNybk0Mw
They have been addicted to Ritalin and other drugs by their yuppie parents who are unable to control male children.
>>61601269
That's why they have a heroin epidemic now :3
Have you ever been to the States? Pharma companies advertise on TV. The NHS leaves a lot to be desired but I'm glad for it 2bh.
>>61601987
Used to work for the NHS. To be honest, the quality of care, facilities, wait times, available equipment/treatments, and quality of staff left a lot to be desired. If cost weren't an issue, I'd choose to go to a healthcare facility in the US over an NHS facility every time.
>>61600234
People take so many painkillers because they're fun and highly addictive and getting a script for them is piss easy.
>My back hurts and this Tylenol ain't cutting it
We like getting fucked up who care
>>61601987
the people who decide to go the legal drugs route know what theyre getting into
i got prescribed vicodins when i got my wisdom teeth out and it's so obvious to see why people get addicted to opiates. i sincerely believe it is the best feeling that a human can experience,
>>61605734
absolute bollocks
>the quality of care,
why does the NHS do so well in all these these rankings then? better than the US anyway
>facilities, available equipment/treatments
among the best in the world. any specifics?
>wait times,
this fucking meme. ive never had to wait beyond something reasonable, and that was on the day. , anything serious you go straight to the hospital. Mind telling me when you did?
>>61605971
This
Everyone gets a taste whenever they get minor surgery and get like 50 pills. Some doctors dgaf and write people scripts indefinitely for "pain".
Opiates are lovely but dangerous, marijuana is a much safer drug for chronic pain, no pun intended.
>>61606110
>why does the NHS do so well in all these these rankings then?
Because those rankings come from your government, dumbass.
>>61606177
ok heres a World Health Organisation report

>opioids
>2016
Medical marijuana for my "chronic back pain" you simpleton lmao
>>61606177
It's OECD data you moron
The NHS is vastly superior to our system, the more you argue that point the more brainwashed you reveal yourself to be and the more you embarrass our country
Americans who defend US health care are the cucks who get cucked by the cucks who were cucked by cucks
>need a tooth taken out
>general anesthesia
>colonoscopy
>general anesthesia
They really are faggoty.

>Saying the NHS is shit means you think the US system is good
Fuck off
>>61606110
>absolute bollocks
You can call it absolute bollocks all that you want, but I'm one of the few people here with extensive experience working in and being treated in both the NHS and the US healthcare system. If cost were not an issue, I'd prefer the US system hands-down. It is far better in many respects.
>British healthcare
Literally 3rd world tier. Ours is just expensive but this...

>he didn't do a couple years of free military service to get unlimited benefits
Insurance is cheap for retired people, also college
American Healthcare w/ Insurance > any other countries socialized one
>>61606844
Yeah but cost is the principal issue you dimwit
>>61606862
I experienced this first-hand. The stroke wards are particularly bad. Saw patients there all the time who were completely left on their own and who, in many cases, hadn't been fed or given water in days. Many of them simply walked out of the hospital and escaped. It was truly atrocious.
Because Americans - like most of the West - are entering the decadent/decline phase of civilization
>>61606922
Not everybody has dreams of becoming an unemployed/unemployable "veteran"
>>61606943
Not really. I was discussing the quality of care. Would you consider a toyota corolla to be a better car than an audi s4 simply because it is less expensive and more "accessible"? No. The American system is better, in many respects. However, it also costs much more.
>>61606985
I did only 4 years lmao I'm 25 with a degree and a job that pays 6 figures. By the time I'm 40 i'll be retired buckaroo,
>>61607107
A real gorilla expert I'm sure
>>61607077
No, dummy, specific instances are better. The overall system is obviously worse.
>>61606518
>need a tooth taken out
>general anesthesia
lolwut?
>>61607201
Sorry, but I spent years working for the NHS and for a US hospital, lived in Britain and the US, have received treatment in both countries, have family in both countries dealing with these systems, etc.
I have experience and knowledge of both and can honestly say that I prefer the US healthcare system, even with all of its flaws.
>>61600234
We consume so much of the worlds painkillers because we probably consititute the majority of the worlds population that has easy access to painkillers/can afford them
>>61607337
lol
>>61600234
Oxys are an opiate, not an opioid. Fucking faggot britard.
Would you like to talk about your ketamine issue now?
