Was it a superior model to market capitalism, especially if you consider stuff which damages nations today like ethnic tensions etc?
Again, I disapprove of killing but there is a lot of stuff I approve, forced emigration of elements who don't want to integrate for example.

The benefit of more national cohesion is more then consumed by the international sanctions. If you knew history, you'd know that Germany was beaten in every war where it couldn't trade freely. Even with the whole Mitteleuropa idea, there simply aren't enough resources to maintain a competitive economy while under blockade.
Besides that, the state funded corporations like Hermann-Göring-Werke (todays Salzgitter AG) and KdF-Werke (today Volkswagen) were extremely ill-managed. Political considerations like isolating the socialists and autharcy lead to stupid decisions on what to produce and where. Why the fuck were a car plant with 50,000 workes and a steel plant of equal size set up in the middle of nowhere?
Research was also improperly organized. Instead of academic merit people where promoted for their party membership. Nobel laureates where removed and replaced by idiots like Albert Vögler. The whole Deutsche Physik was a dead end and would have cost Germany it's lead position in research anyways. Combined with the removal of all Jews, it was the death blow.
All in all, NS ideology puts stupid people in charge of important organisations, where they do so much damage, that the united nation can work as hard as they want, they will fall back in the long run.
