I know that doesn't make sense at first but it was an era where people had a very similiar "dream" and pursuit of happiness thing going on while of course politics being much more leftist in general
it was a period of prosperity never even thought of in the history of the nation. building itself from former practical slave status into a proud western nation. older adults were still amazed they got to live in an independent finland while young people were able to focus on the future and educating and culturing themselves in a way never thought possible in this country. the burden of the war was over and the nationalistic dream of a successful finland was happening for the first time in history. they were building the foundation for future generations
