Around 7 million of adult Poles were spending summer holidays abroad, maily in Greece, Spain, Italy, Egypt, Turkey and soon..

This year is first year when most of them chooses Polish sea because of ISIS, terrorist attacks and refugees.

Islam and media can have massive influence on consumers decisions

Depends on perspective. If you look at it from perspective of a tourist, overcrowded beaches are a bad thing. If you look at it from a perspective of Polish businessman, it is a good thing

No. People started visiting my city en masse about 2 years ago and it's ogre now.

I'm not used to foreigners or even Polish tourists.

For example - I'm in a shop and there's like 4 people standing near me and talking in some strange language. I see one of them, a qt grill, look at me smile and than talk to the other foreigners.
What I feel is chaos, did she say something good? Maybe bad? Should I ask her what's it about, what should I do?

Same thing in a pub, 2 latino girls dancing, they look at me, talk to each other. Normaly I'd know what to do because I'd hear them, but now I can't understand them so I'm confused.

Next those fucking sightseeing cars, they block the road, go slow, people fucking wave, I'm in a hurry(work) should I wave back? I should focus on the road but those people are waving, what the fuck should I do.

Next thing: planes. It used to be quiet now there's a airport and planes fly over the city all the time. It's loud as fuck.

I need to hog more cash and move to the countryside.

Well I bet Brussels has much more tourists, anyway here it's going up so fast I'm experiencing a cultural shock, I can't help it it's happening too fast. I'm used to a chill atmosphere and eating pierogi at one of my favourite restaurants serving local dishes by the lakeside, now I need to book a table there, like 2-3 days prior... I hate it.

can't remember the last time I was actually sightseeing

there came a moment in my life when I thought "foreign countries are the same as ours and people living there are the same as we are, looking at their buildings seems stupid"

then I discovered /int/ and dreamed of sightseeing again but never went abroad (only to Belaruse to smuggle cigarettes)
>>
>>61503330
why would you smuggle cigarettes to Belaruse?
>>
>>61503163
No.

Fat, old Germans are.

They walk in huge crowds. Take every possible sitting spot, yell to each other from different ends of a street, make huge crowds in restaurants, talk random shit to you even though you're just standing there and waiting for a tram or smoking, or get lost.
I had a old German come and sit next to me, maybe a week ago, at a lakeside bench, and just say things in German for 10 minnutes.
Turned out the heat got him, he split from the group, left the old down, went down the road to the lake, and went on his quest to talk random jibberish to every person he sees.

As soon as refugee crisis is solved, we will come back to you. In fact Greece was number one amongst Polish tourists before refugee crisis

Greece comes in first place on a list of top destinations for Polish tourists in 2015 with a market share of 27.5 percent, according to data of the Polish Tour Operators Association (PZOT).

Speaking at the event, the Commercial Attaché of Poland to Greece Miroslaw Gojdz said that he expects the number of Polish visitors to Greece this year to reach some 900,000, compared to 600,000 in 2014 and 400,000 in 2013.

I was in Greece 10 years ago.

When some random tourists(no idea what nationality they were, swarthy skin though) robbed the hotel bar from alcohol the owner accused me of it andwanted to take away my passport even though I was a top tier, calm, guest :(
Until this day I feel sad.
>>

was it the concierge or the hotel owner? If it's any consolation, lowlife scum like this don't stay around in business long. im really sorry for this.
>>
>>61504263
No idea, it ended with him not even saying sorry. He was an angry person so I always blamed the guys character not the place. I really liked Greece and advertised it to my parents who go to Zakynthos quite often. I was at a city near Skiathos and went to Skiathos few times.
I visited quite a lot of places, Athenes was the worst probably with Meteora and Skiathos being the best. I was also suprised that olympus is not just 1 mountain but a whole range, I remember(dunno how it is now) the road leading up the mountain with those wooded old barriers that protect tourists from falling down the cliff.

What's the difference where you drown or fall off a cliff while drunk.

Also I think Croatia is getting more and more popular but the "Italy and Greece have so much history we love" meme is super strong in Poles. We learn to love Greece and Italy because we learn about the Roman Empire and anceint Greece for quite some time in schools and we idealize it.

Not true. Russian shopping tourists are always welcome in Northern Poland. Polish shop workers even learn Russian language to serve them better. We were afraid that they will stop coming here after crash of ruble, but they still come because there is big inflation in Kaliningrad

We don't care what foreigners think about us. We are a member of EU and have a right to work in millions for Western salaries wherever we want, as long as EU exists. We don't care how it hurts local Western societies at all, the only thing we care about is easy money.
>>
>>61504773
>plumbers and Potatoes
It's because of both education and ignorance. And to be exact the lack of the first thing and the plenty of the second thing.
>>
>>61504773

Russians can't work in the West, or even Poland, without visas and special system of permissions. We give visas only to highly skilled professionals from Russia, f.e. IT experts who have rare skills that it is hard to find in Poland. An average Russian cleaner or plumber can't work in the West, but i bet that he would want to do it, because salaries in Russia are 2x-3x lower than in Poland.
>>

An average Russian wage is around 30k rubles, which is like 1700 zł. It is a very low salary of shop-worker in Poland. And it is average. 60% of Russians earn less than this. Moreover their average is also faked by Moscow where salaries are on Polish level (average 60k rubles) more or less, while in province people earn 8k-12k rubles.

Moscow is not better than Poland economically because its boom is based entirely on oil price. It is like oil arab state but with much lower level of investments.
