The fresher the statistics the better. I have a fascinating book about the population history of the united states by some esteemed professor, and it is fascinating and insightful, but his future predictions are woefully off. The book was written in ~2003, and his estimates for the US population in 2025 were the actual US population numbers in ~2013.

It happened over a century ago and are still butthurt as fuck.
