Do you get calls from telemarketers in your country? What do you do to get them to stop/hang up?
I just hang up with them. Yeah, it's funny to waste their time, but you're wasting your own time in the process. Some telemarketers get paid on a commission basis too.

Used to tell them to fuck off and hang up now if I ever get one I like to play this game where I try and get them to hang up by chatting a load of shit/asking them weird questions and singing. If it's an Indian (usually is) I always ask them about designated shitting streets

I don't hang up, I just say something like "yeah that actually sounds interesting, please send me some", then I put down the phone and take time how long it takes for them to drop the call. I think one stayed on for 4 minutes.

I only get one a year on my mums mobile phone because she signs up to all those ads and surveys online
There aren't enough landline connections for me to actually own a home phone or broadband internet in my area
