Do you know Tempura is Portuguese food "Tempera"?
Portugal is the first European country to visit Japan and introduced many such as gun, Christianity, Tempera, Pan, Tobacco, Castela and so on to Japan in 16 century. Japan really appreciates Portugal desu.
