I guess because it's a country devoid of any meaningful history or customs. It's hard to love or hate Canada; it's hard to have any feeling towards them whatsoever. I imagine they feel this themselves and so to compensate try to be as fmalboyantly autistic as possible to distract themselves from the listless ennui that characterizes the ethos of their country
