Hi guys, I'm not so used to post here, but I hope somebody can give me a good lead on the subject. I want to know exactly what Brexit will signify in the near future for the whole world (Europe and America). I know that, most probably, this has been talked a lot here, but I can't find the threads anymore. Any reply will be useful :)
Nothing
It's just sensationalism by the media and scare tactics
It's not as significant as people make it out to be....

It will have... effects.

I see. What do you think about it? was it a good choice to leave the EU just like that?

Exactly what kinds of effects?

There's a lot of speculation about the financial effects, most of them bad. The immediate effects were sharp drops in the value of the pound and drops in the the FTSE 100 and FTSE 250 indexes.
As for the society, most people are still pretty annoyed. It will probably take at least a week for everyone to calm down.

I thought about it for a moment and, even though it's far fetched, it would weaken the EU's power against other powerful nations or rogue groups.

I've been hearing a lot that, most of the people, voted out because of the refugees and stuff. Is it really true that it was a catalyst in the decision?

>Is it really true that it was a catalyst in the decision?
Yeah, people got quite scared about the doom porn being posted on social media during the start of the refugee crisis.

I've read them. Thanks for the links. It seems that the decision has been condemned by a lot of media and the EU in general. At the very least, now they can enjoy the freedom of making choices by themselves.

the uk is gonna be like shit and stay in stagnation
other countries will also be affected by that, but it wont be so much big.
i doubt some country starts "our own exit". i think theres almost no potentiality that euro is broken up

If brexit actually happens, which is at this point far from being a done deal.

no country is dumb enough to just exit the union because UK did it.
People will observe first
In short UK went full retard and has caused a political and economic crisis in Europe.
The short term effects will be horrible for both, the medium and long term effects are bad for the UK and unknown for the union.
EU may dissolve or it may emerge stronger, it's entirely dependent on the political will to reform.
I'm optimistic, but I have no basis for it beside a vague feeling of European unity in our newfound anger with the Brits.
