Chocolate bars are not considered 'candy' here. Sweets refer to non chocolate confectionery, like wine gums, starburst or w/e, chocolate bars are just called chocolate.

In America, our smarties are sour sweet powder that is pressed in a pill press. They're disgusting but you would end up with tons on Halloween and eat them anyways.

Man I fucking love these things
It is a shame for me, because every Ramadan for the last 4 years I imported some curly wurly chocolate sent to me by British friend. On most ramadans, my entire family sits around a table and we have a race to finish a curly wurly and become the curly wurly champion- the winner? he gets to have a can of coke the next day and break fast, we have a saying in this house that allah forgives he who eats a curly wurly quickly.
Now I fear Britain will die, and curly wurly will no longer be available.
