Yes, America's foreign policy is fucked. I know that. We frequently attack countries for retarded reasons (Iraq) and usually fuck them up. I'm not going to defend those operations as a whole, but I can at least try to explain why we went in to some of them

We should have attacked Saudi Arabia, but fuck knows what that would have caused. Iraq was just stupid.
I don't want to lay blame one any single thing because history is complex, but the CIA time and time again fucks the American people over with manipulation and lies. They fed us the bad info on Iraq. They literally created programs like Operation Mockingbird to influence American media and plans like Operation Northwoods.... which were complete monstrosities that fortunately were never implemented (GOD BLESS JFK).
The American people and parts of the government can be ignorant and short-sighted, but it's really these insidious groups like the CIA that make us the 'evil' you perceive us as.
