These "Who would win?" Scenarios don't really work in modern times. Can you imagine China or the USA being occupied by a foreign military? I really don't.
There would be proxy wars and when it comes to this, victory depends on the country in which the war would be led.

National Mobilization Law (中华人民共和国国防动员法) was legislated in the National People's Congress (NPC) of the People's Republic of China on 26 February 2010. The law gives the NPC Standing Committee the power to put the national economy and civilians in China, including FOREIGN ASSETS, in war-time footing if "state sovereignty, unification, territorial integrity or security is threatened."
Now there are 6 millions Chinese immigrants and 4 millions Chinese businessmen, students (high school & university) and tourists. Once war starts, all these Chinese become agents and soldiers.
