it's difficult ? I share the collections with my mother, it's mostly from her friends coming back from vacations. My rarest bill is an Ethiopian one
>>
>>61306512
Don't worry.
If you want from rare countries or old coins it could be difficult.
I've always wanted a ethiopian bill, but it's always too expensive for its actual value.
>>
My mother has a toilet paper collection that she gathered traveling Europe in the late '70s. Also has a bunch of neat old coins she picked up at the same time.

I myself have a glass soda bottle collection. Started it when I was 13. I've got Indian Fanta, Mexican Pepsi, all sorts of stuff. A couple oddities like these stubby little bottles I've only seen once ever; they had plastic caps like regular bottles. Then I've got these special Coke bottles that they did several years ago around Christmas time. 1800s-early 1990s style bottles. They're pretty neat.
>>
>>61306995
We got quite lucky on the Ethiopian bill, the father of one of her friends went to work in ethiopia and he saved some currency.

true for the old currency, the only old bills we have are italian ones.

good luck in your find of ethiopian bill chile anon !
if you like coins france sells 5 euro coins (there are 3, liberté, égalité, fraternité) and they're in silver i think, i have these too
>>
>>61307372
Thanks. I actually have one Ethiopian coin, but it's not in good shape.
Do they sell them for 5 euros?
>>
>>61307880
yes, they cost 5 euros.
i checked and it seems they're not available anymore but you should easily find them on ebay or so.
You can also buy Napoléons but they're more pricy and made of gold or something

Mostly they have mark errors where the reverse is off a few degrees one is probably off by about 10 degrees at the most.
Others are just still in near perfect condition so I did that so they wouldn't oxide.
Others are old, my oldest penny is a 1894 Indian head,
While my most valuable one is a 1924 d in "g grade" condition.

Anything in mind for when you have the money?
>>
>>61318223
>Anything in mind for when you have the money?
Silver investments mostly.
Also well timed stocks I wish I had money when Volkswagen stock crashed and I wish I had money now to invest in the British pound for when that goes up again.
Haven't thought much past that though, figure I have the time to think on it, going to take 4 years.
>>
>>61318320
Yeah, there will be always something to invest in the future.
Even thought I don't take this hobby as an investment, I'm always looking for cheap stuff to sell later for its actual value.
And what's that silver coin your parents gave you?

It's probably the best catalog out there.
But you also had some good looking coins in the past. The US had almost the same design in their coins for almost a century and never had a redenomination.

Yeah I see what you mean.
Maybe some Russian artist will get bored and make a design for one and it'll take off.

I've never used it so I can't really form an opinion on it.
The one I use mainly is called Whitman but I'm not sure how they are with outside of US currency.
